Hello, I am Traci Proctor Clinical Supervisor for the Siteman Cancer Center. I’ve been with Washington University for over 10 years and have learned so much. I started my career with the Cardiology division right after I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing from SIUE in May 2003. Through my 9 ½ years in Cardiology I held many roles. I worked as a scheduler and a phone triage representative, and then I helped create and run their pre-arrival team. I later took on the scheduling team lead position & the call center team lead and finally became the call center’s supervisor.
In December 2012, I transferred to the Siteman Cancer Center as the supervisor for all the schedulers, front desk staff, & a pre-cert position on the 7th floor of the CAM. I am thrilled to be a part of an exciting group.
On a personal note, I married my high school sweet heart Alan in 2002 and we have three amazing daughters; Madi (8 yrs old), Hailey (6 yrs old) & Kaydence (10 months old). Madi has mild Cerebral Palsy so our family is very active with the St. Louis Variety Children’s Charity organization (who helps provide Madi’s medical equipment).
My favorite motto is “Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.”
